Winters bring in happy times. The chilly weather makes you snuggle to your blanket while sipping on some warm winter soups. However, winters also bring in flu, illnesses and diseases that can lower your immune system. It is important to pay extra attention to your diet to maintain your immunity. It is always a great idea to include healthy immunity-boosting foods into your diet, so that you don’t catch common winter illnesses such as a cold or flu. Some viruses are more likely to spread during cold weather. Whereas certain factors may weaken the ability of your body to fight off illnesses during winters. One of the reasons can be reduced levels of vitamin D, also known as the sunshine vitamin.

However, there are certain tips you can follow to boost your immune system during winters.

Take a full 8-hour sleep during winters. Most people oversleep during winters which is not advised too.
